Firemen try to ‘rescue’ a seagull that became skewered to a spike on top of the law courts in central Birmingham!

The street was taped off whilst the firemen tried to rescue the impaled seagull. Sadly, the seagull was out of reach of the firemen and their nets, and unfortunately went on to die of immense pain and/or starvation. I think it was its wing that got skewered by the spike.
Either way, Gnargore would like to dedicate this post to the memory of the seagull, and our thoughts and prayers go towards the family the seagull left behind.
