Hereford Skatepark

Construction on Phase 1 of the Hereford Skatepark began the other week.

Callum and his chums have been on the case, taking regular photos and putting them up on the Skatepark’s Facbook Group
You can also keep up to date with the construction via this Sidewalk Forum Thread.

Unfortunately, due to the current financial climate, the full scale park had to be modified and built in stages in order to get something up and running. Don’t worry though, the plans still look great, and feature some interesting street obstacles and an ‘8′ shaped bowl complete with stairs in the shallow end! Get ya Hewitt on!

Ideal ‘Night of the Living Shred’ Party

The party was fun and there was lots of beer drinking. Cates’ band ‘Day Release’ played and breathed fire at one stage, sacrificed a rollerblader and smashed a tv with a baseball bat.

Moggins was in the house, and had a rad mexican wrestler mask and cape!

Sam came down with my favourite fancy dress of the night, coming as Rob Dyrdek! Head to toe XL DC gear, a monster energy drink can, DC medallion made from tin foil and a cut out of Big Black! Genious!

Shout outs to Neil ‘Attack Dog’ Bailey, who pipped Joxa to the post and won himself a shiny new setup! Also, Day Release for rocking out! Death Skateboards for making the trip to Birmingham to skate with us, and Ideal for putting it on!

P.S – Does anyone know the best way to remove paraffin from wood?!

Art Show

CJ’s Photography Exhibition at Ideal was on Friday. It was a blast. Wonderful photographs, free beer, and a busy session in the ramp room!
