DC Hotdog Jam

The hotdog jam was a blast! Props to Sam for coming up with some fun comp ideas, and to DC for providing a massive box of gear!

Harrison repped for Gnargore and claimed 2nd in the ‘Best Run’ comp, pipped to the post by Bromsgrovian John ‘Quack Attack’ Duck who pulled out a blinder of a run right at the death!

The main event soon rolled up, and the Great Hotdog Eating Contest began!

So much harder than I imagined it would be! Upon reviewing the footage, I noted my personal downfall was the lack of water used to break the bread rolls down.

Next time, victory is mine! Well done chaps!

Ideal Ramp, this Saturday (20th Sept) 12 noon onwards. Ramp jam and BBQ. Doesn’t get much better than that!

I met my skate hero Peter Hewitt today. He was rad.

He didn’t skate the ramp, but it was probably too small and wimpy for him anyway!

Bare mandem were there from all over the place. Most skaters i’ve seen together in Birmingham for a long long time. Very good to see.

Antiz at Ideal

I seem to be mentioning ‘Ideal’ on here in a week, more than the guys that run the place do in a year!!! I blame Kris for building the ramp! And skaters faults for wanting to come shred there!

Today was the turn of the Antiz skate team, popping down from the Manchester area specially to check out the ramp whilst on their ‘Stella Tour‘!

They had their newest team rider Arran Sweeny with them. He rips! The whole team were sound as a pound (or Euro in their case) and we had some Stellas with them afterwards!

Forgive me for the short length of the video. I was itching to get in there myself!

Tonight was the Fallen ‘Ride the Sky’ Premier ar Ideal.

One of my favourite skaters, Chris Pulman, now Fallen rep brought the disc down and introduced the video.

Seriously, buy this video. Its fucking insane! Chris Cole’s shit will melt your minds! I “What the FUCK?!”‘d so many times!

Then there was a raffle for Fallen gear.

Guess who came away with some new shoes.

Dan was the most stoked I’ve ever seen him. He was 5 cans deep at this point, so the winnings were extra sweet for him!
